Youth representatives of various countries were selected by WFUNA, based on the best projects submitted globally to be able to attend the Human Rights in Action session at the UN Headquarters in Geneva.
Miss Kulsoom Siddiqui, Head of UNAP Youth, represented United Nations Association of Pakistan for her project ‘Human Rights in our Country – Climate Action’. She was amongst 14 finalists selected from across the world for this prestigious training.
Her project reiterated the need for tree plantations and demonstrated how Pakistan is ranked as the 7th country which is at most risk to the negative effects of climate change.
