An Art Competition where children can let their imagination make a lasting impact!

SHIELD is dedicated in uplifting the daily lives of the youth by playing an active role in sponsoring and collaborating various activities towards educational, health and social development. With this initiative, Shield is seeking to help children discover their true potential through their art, which is a reflection of their brand. Thus, UNAP and Shield have collaborated to provide this opportunity to commemorate World Children Day 2021 with an exciting art competition for the Youth across Pakistan!

What you do today, with passion, determination and fervor, will pave the way for the dreams that you want to achieve in the future!

SDGs in focus

As we conduct the project we will ensure that the project is consistent with the following sustainable development goals of the United Nations:
“Aaj School Kal Duniya’

This competition is linked primarily with SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and Equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities.
Furthermore SDG’s 1,2,3,5,6,11,14,15,16 will also be incorporated.

Benefits

We live on a planet that has experienced significant uncertainty during the past two years with a pandemic. However, gradually things are coming back to normal. With lockdowns finishing and schools reopening, we want children to be hopeful and positive about the future! This competition aims to let imaginations run wild – sky is the limit! Children and youngsters can express their hopes, dreams and ambitions through a simple submission and get a chance to win exciting prizes!

All participants will be awarded a highly coveted certificate by UNAP and SHIELD.

Winners of the national contest will also receive prizes.

Brief description

SHIELD – As a constructive partner in the communities in which it operates, SHIELD has been taking concrete action to realize its social responsibility objectives, thereby building value for its shareholders and customers.

 

Rules of the Competition

  • Entries must follow the competition theme i.e. Aaj School, Kal Dunya.
  • Competition is open to all 2 and 3-dimensional artists.
  • Competition is open to amateur and professional artists.
  • Photography & Digital Arts are included but video is excluded.
  • Competition is national.
  • Artists must be aged between 6-16 years old.
  • Files must be in JPG or PNG format only.
  • Files may not exceed 1MB.
  • Images may only be entered
  • Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.
  • There is no limit to the number of images that an artist can submit.
