Tree Plantation Campaign
The United Nations Association of Pakistan has launched its city-wide ‘Tree Plantation Drive’ for August – September 2020. This environmental campaign supports the 13th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) – Climate Action.
It aims to distribute 11,000 free trees to both its various campus chapters and various educational institutions across Karachi. These institutions must be able to ensure the maintenance of these trees.
The tree plantation campaign shall consist of a series of ‘Green Days’ at the various institutes during which top-notch environmentalists and professionals will visit the campuses to engage students in meaningful dialogue and plant trees alongside them.
